Sara Evans Daughter – With the release of “Of Course I Do,” Olivia Evans, daughter of country recording artist Sara Evans, has released her debut single, which was inspired by adolescent rebellion and late-’80s pop.

Olivia co-wrote the song with producer Nash Overstreet and Shane Stevens, who was also her mother’s regular co-writer, when she was only 18 years old, following her first devastating heartbreak. Olivia’s upcoming EP, “Of Course I Do,” will have five songs inspired by breakups, with “Of Course I Do” serving as the lead single.
Olivia Barker, Sara Evans’ daughter, has unquestionably acquired the musical gene. The 17-year-strong, old’s yet achingly sweet, voice shines through in a new performance released on her Instagram page on Tuesday, when she sings Alison Krauss & Union Station’s 1992 classic “Every Time You Say Goodbye” with the band.
Barker began receiving comments about how beautiful she sounded almost immediately after she aired her performance on YouTube. “It’s clear that talent runs in the family,” one fan commented. “This was really fantastic.”
Another fan described him as “a raw youthful talent.” “It’s time to go on to the next level!”
Barker has been demonstrating her ability to progress to the next level, which is frequently difficult to achieve. Avery Barker, her renowned mother, and her brother went on tour and recorded a new album together in 2019, and they were dubbed the Barker Family Band to promote the album.

“”I think, for me, it’s something that I look at and it’s sort of bragging rights,” Evans says of watching her children expand their musical horizons in an interview with Taste of Country.
“These are my children, and even though they are no longer children, simply to see what they have accomplished and what they are capable of, it’s only the beginning of what they are going to embark on,” says the mother of the children. It’s quite thrilling.”
Olivia, her brother Avery, and her sister Audrey are the three children Evans had with her ex-husband Craig Schelske, whom she divorced in 2005.
After the pair split in 2007, the country star married former football player Jay Barker, who was already the father of four children by the time of their union.

Olivia explains that, while country music may be considered the family business, her mother has been aware of her desire to pursue a career in the pop music industry for quite some time and has been supportive of her decision. Olivia, on the other hand, is not interested in restricting herself to a single genre.
“I hope that as I progress in my work, I will have the freedom to do whatever I want, whenever I want,” she says. “If I want to set a new national record in ten years, I want to be able to do so.” “I’m just not going to put myself in any kind of creative shackles.”
