Bob Dole Daughter Robin – Following a battle with lung cancer, the former presidential candidate and Republican Senate leader passed away peacefully in his sleep. He is survived by his second wife, Elizabeth, and daughter, Robin Dole, who survives him. Robin Dole, 67, is the only child of Bob Dole and his first wife, Phyllis, and is their only child.

Growing up, Robin lived in both Kansas and Washington, DC.
She even assisted Bob with his political campaigns, despite the fact that she did not have an official title for her contributions. She was praised for giving her all, regardless of the circumstances.
She leads a somewhat secluded existence, and little is known about her.
During the burial service for Bob Dole on Friday, a sobbing Robin Dole read from her father’s farewell letter, which she shared with the audience.
People from all walks of life, including President Joe Biden and former President Bill Clinton, came at Washington National Cathedral to pay tribute to the late senator from Kansas, who ran for president three times before passing away at the age of 98.
When Dole’s daughter delivered her eulogy, she read from a parting letter Dole had written to a former staff member.
The final stretch of my life’s journey is one in which I am free of dread. Because I am confident that I shall not be walking alone once more. “I’m confident that God will be with me,” said Robin Dole, 67, in a statement.

The truth is that I’m a little curious to find out if I’m correct in thinking that paradise will look a lot like Kansas.
Then there’s the question of whether I’ll be able to vote in Chicago, like others who have gone before me.
That line brought the cathedral, where Washington’s political elite had assembled, to its feet in hysterical laughter.
As Elizabeth Dole, the late senator’s widow, made her way down the aisle before the commencement of the funeral at Washington National Cathedral, Vice President Joe Biden reached out to take her hand.
Dole’s casket was carried in by a military honour guard moments later, as the assembly stood and applauded. Most notably, Bob’s daughter Robin Dole, his only child from his previous marriage to Phyllis, shared some of her thoughts on the occasion.
“My father was a giving rather than a taker,” she explained. His concern for others was greater than his concern for himself. He told me that he had made a personal goal for himself to help one person every day.” Robin began assisting Bob with his political campaigns when she was five years old, despite the fact that she did not have an official title for her work.

She recalled nightly phone chats with her father over the past few years, during which they spent hundreds of hours chatting about “anything under the sun,” as she described it.
“My father and I have shared an extraordinary 67 years together. I’m extremely appreciative. “Not everyone has the luxury of having that time,” Robin explained. It has been a blessing to have had these last few years.”
“I have faith in the future of the United States of America,” she continued, tears streaming down her face.
“I’m going to miss him a lot. I believe I will continue to speak with him every night. Dad, you have my heartfelt affection. “I assure you that you will never be alone.”
